Design & Features
The Year of Rabbit 2023 coin depicts a hopping rabbit in grass and wheat stalks, flourishing in its natural habitat. Included in the design is the Chinese character for ‘rabbit’, the inscription ‘RABBIT 2023’ and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark.
The obverse depicts the Jody Clark effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the coin’s weight, purity and monetary denomination.
Each coin’s back side includes a security feature in the form of a micro-laser engraved letter within the design. It can only be detected under a magnifying glass and makes it significantly more difficult for the coin to be counterfeited.
